Past Echoes Autumn Music Festival25-27 May 2007Past Echoes will continue to promote the ever-increasingly vibrant Victorian Early Music scene and New Music scene through its 2007 Autumn Music Festival. The festival, comprising 6 concerts and a master class, showcases Australia’s finest early musicians, and continues the focus on producing interesting and varied programs. Ranging from chamber works to large-scale vocal/orchestral motets, the Past Echoes series will meet current supporters’ expectations and attract new audiences alike. Past Echoes also plans to present a number of chamber concerts in regional Victoria and to a national audience through its involvement in the ABC Sunday Live series and through pre-recorded national broadcasts. Artistic DirectorLouisa Hunter-BradleyLouisa Hunter-Bradley is one of Australia’s leading vocalists specializing in music of the Renaissance, Baroque and Classical periods. She has performed extensively in Australia and Europe with groups such as the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, Victorian Opera, OzOpera, e21, Lyric Opera of Melbourne, Triptych, Choir of London, St Giles-in-the-Fields, Australian Classical Players, Cantillation and most predominantly as the Artistic Director of Past Echoes and Buxtehude Consort. Festival performances include the Ballarat Organs of the Goldfields, Melbourne Proms, Melbourne Autumn Music Festival and the Melbourne and Sydney International Festivals.
